The 100th day of school is right around the corner! I love filling our 100th day in kindergarten with fun centers, crafts, and 100th day books.
The 100th day of school can get a little hectic, so I like to break up each activity with a 100th day read aloud.

This is a new release, and as soon as I received it in the mail, I knew it was going to become a new yearly favorite. My class has loved Miss Mingo for years. I know they’ll love reading about all the fun 100th day of school activities Miss Minho’s class does and comparing it to our own.
100th Day Worries
This books is a 100th day classic! Jessica needs to bring a collection of 100 objects to school, but she doesn’t know what to bring. I love this story for talking about problem solving and character emotions.
One Hundred Days (Plus One)
Hannah is so excited for the 100th day of school, but she ends up missing the celebration because she’s sick. She makes the best of it by celebrating the 101th day of school.
Miss Bindergarten and the 100th Day of Kindergarten
Miss Bindergarten is another favorite character in our classroom. I love that the Miss Bindergarten books act like an alphabet book. Each student from A to Z brings something for the 100th day celebration. This is just a fun read aloud!
Fancy Nancy: The 100th Day of School
Fancy Nancy is preparing for the 100th day of school, but she’s not sure what to bring. She solves her problem in a creative way that commemorates their pet fish that just passed away. This story is a great way to touch lightly on losing a pet and finding ways to remember them. A little heavy for the 100th day of school, I know. but I think your class will love it!
100 Snowmen
I know this isn’t a traditional 100th day of school book, but I love it for math! Students will count and add the snowmen until they finally get to 100. Plus, your class will love seeing the what these silly snowmen do on each page!
